For Women in Clothes authors Heti, Julavits and Shapton surveyed over 600 women, questioning their different feelings and perspectives on fashion, such as “What’s the first investment item you ever brought?” The editors composed a list of more than fifty questions designed to prompt women to think more deeply about their personal style.
Essentially a conversation among hundreds of woman – famous, religious, married, single, young, old and anonymous – the book focuses on the subject of clothing and how what we put on every day can define and shape our lives.
