This new book featuring the work of Stuart Haygarth, award winning British designer and artist, is a beautiful collection of photographs that depict humans’ pollution of the planet through an aesthetic eye.
For Strand, he walked the length of the south coast of England picking up hundreds of man-made items left on the shore. Haygarth then categorised the items by colour or type and set them up in thoughtful compositions before photographing them. The objects form a narrative of both unknown peoples’ lives and of Haygarth’s journey, while also telling the story of our reckless pollution of the environment.
