Designer Simon Weckert has created a shirt that stops AI video surveillance systems from recognising the wearer as a person, developed in response to a new AI camera trial in Berlin. The pattern was trained in an adversarial loop against an object-detection system, adjusted repeatedly until the AI’s confidence in seeing a “person” collapsed. The print is an all over scale like motif that breaks up the body’s outline, in bold, saturated colours including green, magenta, blue and orange.
