The J.W Anderson Workshops are an ongoing collaboration between the designer and a group of creatives he considers kindred spirits. Situated in the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, there will be a new collaborator each month, with some of the projects going on sale.
The creatives include artists, ceramists and singers among others, with Spanish magazine publisher Luis Venegas, kicking the process off on the 28th January.
The workshops take inspiration from the Bloomsbury Group’s Omega Workshops, as well as the way the Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake works with other people. Anderson told BOF, “I’ve always been obsessed by him and how he worked with so many different types of people. I think that defines where we live today-not in a luxury world, but a cultural world-where we have to create more experience. The luxury environment just isn’t personalised anymore.”
10am – 7pm (Monday – Saturday)
12pm – 5pm (Sunday)
USP: The J.W Anderson workshops take experience retail to the next level where culture is the new currency in luxury.
