Born and raised in Germany, Anne started her career with a tailoring apprenticeship and Fashion Design studies at Fachhochschule Trier, before moving to London to continue her studies. Anne graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1997 with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design Womenswear and has since worked as a Fashion Designer, Trend Forecaster and Trend Consultant, working with Versace, Markus Lupfer, Temperley London, ECCO, WGSN, Stylus and Unique Style Platform. Recently she also started teaching at Fashion College AMD Akademie Mode & Design in Germany.
Anne also has been running asuccessful Street Style blog since 2009 and in November 2016 launched her online shop “Reuse, Reinvent, Revive – a slow couture collection by Anne Bernecker”.

Journalist and trend consultant Gwyneth Holland brings to USP her extensive experience working with the world’s leading brands and agencies, from Lamborghini and Pernod Ricard to Conde Nast, Global Blue and Publicis.
Gwyneth is also the former editor of, and longtime contributor to Viewpoint magazine, and currently writes for a variety of fashion and trend publications, including Protein Journal and SHOP Magazine.
After senior positions at renowned trend agencies including WGSN, Iconoculture and The Future Laboratory, Gwyneth now helps brands discover and apply global consumer trends through her own company, How Things Are Done. She specialises in research and forecasting on innovation, gender, fashion and luxury.
USP: Perfume aficionado, pop culturist and proud member of Lips Choir.
Susie Draffan is a global trends analyst, journalist and content editor. A Central Saint Martins graduate, she was WGSN’s youth editor for 6 years, before joining the trend team at New Look.
Susie relocated from London to LA in 2011, and is currently senior editor at StyledOn, a fashion website which merges content, community and commerce.
USP: Stripy T-shirt obsessive, ugly shoe aficionado, Glasgow native but Cali girl at heart.
A strategic and innovative thinker, drawing on 25 years experience to deliver the right balance between creative and commercial, Fiona is a global colour consultant and a member of the British Textile Colour Group.
Spending 10 years at WGSN, most recently as Global Head of Colour, Fiona worked with a wide variety of clients across fashion, textiles, sport, beauty and home on future forecasts and advisory projects. Prior to this Fiona was a designer and consultant for international retailers and brands such as Paul Smith, M&S, Next, Benetton, Naturino, Uniqlo and Evisu.
USP: A colour obsessive, lover of curious travel, collector and hoarder who lives with a minimalist.
Alison is an experienced fashion and retail analyst. In her 15 years in the industry she has travelled the world reporting from fashion’s front line as a retail specialist for WGSN, Trendstop, Fashion Snoops and most recently as retail editor and client liaison for LS:N Global.
She has consulted for brands such as Burberry, Woolmark, The Limited and Aldo and written for titles including Viewpoint, Surface magazine, Drapers and Marks & Spencer.
Alison in now editor of her blog The Retail Planner, reporting and advising on the worlds of retail strategy, e-commerce, online selling platforms, physical-digital integration and consumer shopping behaviour. While she is enamoured by the digital journey to purchase, she also loves discovering good old retail theatre.
USP: In her spare time Alison likes (real) shopping and cocktails – preferably at the same time.
Rob is a creative director who has worked in design and branding for many years, gaining a wealth of experience in the UK, Europe and North America and across many industry sectors. Working for some of the world’s leading agencies including Enterprise IG (now Brand Union) and FutureBrand UK.
As well as contributing to USP, Rob is also Creative Director at Dragon Rouge.
Rob’s experience also includes a formative period working with the design guru Bruce Mau in Toronto, which resulted in him working on projects in Los Angeles for the architect Frank Gehry and creating the architectural monograph S,M,L,XL for Rem Koolhaus.
USP: A curious mind and interest in all things design-related, from studying Japanese calligraphy to collecting and restoring postmodern furniture.
