Susie Draffan is a global trends analyst, journalist and content editor. A Central Saint Martins graduate, she was WGSN’s youth editor for 6 years, before joining the trend team at New Look.
Susie relocated from London to LA in 2011, and is currently senior editor at StyledOn, a fashion website which merges content, community and commerce.
USP: Stripy T-shirt obsessive, ugly shoe aficionado, Glasgow native but Cali girl at heart.
A strategic and innovative thinker, drawing on 25 years experience to deliver the right balance between creative and commercial, Fiona is a global colour consultant and a member of the British Textile Colour Group.
Spending 10 years at WGSN, most recently as Global Head of Colour, Fiona worked with a wide variety of clients across fashion, textiles, sport, beauty and home on future forecasts and advisory projects. Prior to this Fiona was a designer and consultant for international retailers and brands such as Paul Smith, M&S, Next, Benetton, Naturino, Uniqlo and Evisu.
USP: A colour obsessive, lover of curious travel, collector and hoarder who lives with a minimalist.
Fran Buss and Abby Bucknall are a design and art direction duo who focus upon creating inspiring and unique materials and objects that challenge the viewers ideologies between what is real and what is not. Both recent Chelsea College of Arts graduates they have a strong sense of colour and materiality and push the boundaries of immersive materials through their styling and art direction.
USP: Prolific hoarders, obsessive screen printers and lovers of peroxide.
Working between Paris and London for trend forecasting agencies Stylesight, Nelly Rodi and Promostyl, Marie has over 15 years global experience in trend forecasting. Marie is passionate about a holistic approach to trends, building bridges between the past and the future using signs and symbols.
Alongside her trends work, Marie also works for a wide range of clients in the areas of beauty, food and jewellery.
USP: Trusting intuition and her psychic abilities as well as shamanic practice, herbal remedies and kirtan chanting.
Alison is an experienced fashion and retail analyst. In her 15 years in the industry she has travelled the world reporting from fashion’s front line as a retail specialist for WGSN, Trendstop, Fashion Snoops and most recently as retail editor and client liaison for LS:N Global.
She has consulted for brands such as Burberry, Woolmark, The Limited and Aldo and written for titles including Viewpoint, Surface magazine, Drapers and Marks & Spencer.
Alison in now editor of her blog The Retail Planner, reporting and advising on the worlds of retail strategy, e-commerce, online selling platforms, physical-digital integration and consumer shopping behaviour. While she is enamoured by the digital journey to purchase, she also loves discovering good old retail theatre.
USP: In her spare time Alison likes (real) shopping and cocktails – preferably at the same time.
An Anglo-American through and through, Lindsey lived the gypset lifestyle for nearly a decade, contributing to WGSN and soaking in global culture for WGSN’s arts and travel directory, City by City.
Having recently made the pilgrimmage to Prada Marfa she now resides in Northern California with her family, quietly keeping tabs on what’s cool on the West Coast and beyond.

Wanting to be a trend forecaster since the age of 12 Georgina lives and breathes trends, ideas and inspiration. Having graduated in fashion and branding Georgina set up ‘The Inspiration Provider’ a source of colour, trends and aesthetics to inspire the creative industries. Georgina brings her vision to the Unique Style Platform team from her home of Barcelona where she also writes for Sicky magazine as well as styling and art directing for editorials.
USP: Passionate about color, curious by nature and a collector of sponges.
Rae is a footwear and accessories specialist who was Footwear & Accessories Editor at WGSN for 8 years and has since been working with a broad range of clients on design, colour, shape and material trends including Pantone View, Kurt Geiger, Radley, Mexx and Fogal.
Jones started her successful women’s footwear label, Rae Jones, in 2008 and in 2013 launched Buckitt, an accessories brand. She tutors at London College of Fashion, has authored a book on shoe design and lends her expertise on business start-ups and crowdfunding to UKFT and Kickstarter.
Rae has recently branched out into the wonderful world of food and is currently consulting and writing for Chef and The Hour magazines.
USP: A mad mop of curls tops,lover of weird foods and Kate Bush who has swum The Solent and whose favourite colour is grey.
